Summer’ forms part of the ‘Shop Amy’ collection; a specially curated selection of designs, made up in Amy’s pick of sizes and colours to create a readily available, more accessible range.
‘Summer’ is a bold floral rug from Amy’s collaboration with renowned florist Willow Crossley, inspired by British flowers and the changing seasons. With its maximalist pattern of flowers and foliage, Summer has a wonderfully joyful, decorative feel. There is something slightly vintage about the design, reminiscent of traditional floral kilims, while still feeling fresh and contemporary.
Originally created as a hand-knotted rug, this flatweave version has a more relaxed feel while retaining the detail and character of the original design. Hand-woven in wool, it is hard-wearing and practical for everyday living, while the mix of colours is particularly forgiving in busy family spaces and high-traffic areas.
Each rug in the Shop Amy collection is individually handmade, so sizes can vary by up to approximately 6cm from those listed. This is part of the beauty of a handmade rug – each one is unique.
