STAIR RUNNERS
A patterned stair runner can be a wonderful statement piece in any interior. Whether you're looking for a single flight or a whole stair-well, any of our hand knotted rug designs can be made into stair runners. Or we can work with you to make completely bespoke designs. We will come and template the stairs to work out the best way to make the design, and to give a firm quote and scaled mock up. Once made we have our fantastic install team at Classic Rug Care who will come and fit it.
Here are a few examples of ones we've done.
We designed this with the team at Studio Hooton for this absolute show stopper of an entrance hall staircase - 3 flights and 3 landings including the main one at the top.
We altered our 'Floral Ogee' design from our collab with Gabby Deeming @daydress to be all wool and to 'hard match' in as many places as possible and be unified on all flights.
We designed this with the team at Deborah Beaumont Interiors just as a patterned feature on the first flight of the stairs.
We altered our 'Spring' design from our collab with Willow Crossley to be all wool and slightly simplified the design so we could get as much pattern as possible in the space. We also sent a piece of their carpet out to our team in Kathmandu to colour match to for the background.
Working with Clare Gaskin is always fun, and this was definitely one of our more unusual requests. Her clients on this project absolutely loved their cats, Miss Atomic Bomb and Mr Brightside, and wanted to put them on their stairs of their mews house. We even had a meeting to match the right colours as much as possible to them, especially their eyes!
We love the simplicity of this one, designed for Geraldine Morley Interior Design; it is the perfect design to give a bit of texture and statement without being too dramatic.
It can of course be made to any colour.
