'Albaicin Border' forms part of Amy's geometric collection. It is the newest addition to her collaboration with wallpaper and fabric duo Rapture & Wright.

The design is a development of the 'Albaicin' rug which is available in our 'Shop Amy' collection. This particular pattern of Rapture & Wright's was inspired by an image of Richard Long's 1994 "White River Line" that was pinned to their studio mood board: 'We loved the energy of the line that seemed both abstract and ordered.' The name comes from the Moorish decoration that their evolving drawings also evoked.

One of our bestselling designs, Albaicin Border is a wonderfully unique rug with a bold, graphic border that works equally well in classic and contemporary interiors. Simple yet incredibly effective, it looks fantastic in a huge range of colours, from subtle neutrals to bold, contrasting shades. Hand-woven in 100% naturally stain-resistant wool, it’s durable, easy to clean and a practical choice for busy family homes.

As with all our designs, Albaicin Border is a bespoke, made-to-order rug that can be made to measure in any size and customised to any colour. Amy can help with choosing colours, proportions and sizing, either remotely or during a site visit. The design can also be made as a hand-knotted rug.
