'Painterly 4' is an abstract hand-knotted rug from Amy’s Painterly collection, developed over the years from designs originally created for individual interiors.

With its all-over painterly pattern, the design creates movement and texture across the whole rug rather than drawing the eye in one particular direction. Eight colours are used throughout and can be completely changed, allowing Painterly 4 to be created in soft, tonal shades or in stronger, more contrasting colours for a bolder effect.

Hand-knotted in wool and Tencel, the subtle sheen of the Tencel adds depth and movement to the abstract pattern. It can also be made in all wool, or with real silk in place of Tencel.

Each rug is made to order and completely customisable, made to measure in any size. Amy can help with choosing colours, proportions and sizing, either remotely or during a site visit. Visuals can also be created to show how different colour combinations will work within your room.
