Part of Amy’s classic collection, ‘Jewel’ was conceived during her trip to Jaipur in 2023, inspired by the trinkets and jewellery found in the Pink City’s markets. The intricate pattern is highlighted by raised silk detailing across the surface of the rug, creating a delicate, trellis-like effect reminiscent of fine jewellery.
The background is created using a subtle abrush technique, blending different tones to give the rug a beautifully aged, vintage appearance. Combined with the traditional Persian knot and delicate silk detailing, Jewel has a wonderfully classic feel, making it particularly suited to traditional interiors.
As with all our designs, Jewel is a bespoke, hand-knotted wool and silk rug that can be made to measure in any size and customised to any colour. Shown here in six colourways – Beige, Aubergine, Black Grey, Dark Blue, Gold Blue and Sage – the possibilities are endless. Amy can help with choosing colours, proportions and sizing, either remotely or during a site visit.
