'Plain with Border' is a completely customisable hand-knotted rug, designed to be tailored to both your interior and your space.

The starting point is beautifully simple: a plain rug with a border. From there, almost anything is possible. Choose any colour combination and border width, keep the border simple and tonal, add contrasting colour or pattern, or create subtle definition through different pile heights and materials. The border can be as understated or as decorative as you choose.

Made in wool, wool and Tencel, or wool and silk, different materials can also be combined to introduce subtle changes in texture and sheen. The examples shown here are just a few of the possibilities.

Each rug is made to order and completely customisable, made to measure in any size. Amy can help with choosing colours, proportions, border details and sizing, either remotely or during a site visit, working with you to create a rug specifically for your space.
