'Ikat' is our contemporary take on a classic Ikat design, hand-knotted in Jaipur using a traditional Persian knot.

One main colour is chosen for the pattern and another for the background. Rather than using two flat colours, the yarns are dyed in a series of subtle tones of each, which are then cleverly combined as the rug is knotted. This creates the beautifully varied, slightly faded appearance of the design and gives the rug its wonderfully soft, vintage feel. It is especially suited to the more traditional interiors.

Each rug is made to order and completely customisable, made to measure in any size. Amy can help with choosing colours and sizing either remotely or during a site visit.
