Recycled Rugs

We strongly believe that sustainability, recycling and non-wastage are concepts that we should all be aware of, whatever line of business we are in. We are more than aware that a bespoke company such as ours, where materials are dyed up to customised colours for each order, while being amazing, comes with its fair share of inevitable wastage.

We have thought long and hard how to counteract this and how we can somehow contribute back. We therefore came up with the idea of using up as much of the yarn as possible, left over from bespoke orders, making rugs that use small amounts of lots of colours. The result has been a fun collection of bright cheerful flatweaves of various geometric designs. This has become a rolling collection of the below ‘Recycled Rugs’, using up whatever materials are literally lying around, that we can offer as ‘off the peg’ buys. Not only does this reduce wastage but it also gives more work to our rug making community in Kathmandu where they are made. They are all available now.
